Jackson Pollock: The Blue Unconscious

Next month, Sotheby's will auction off a Jackson Pollock that, previous to this, had last been seen in 1965, when it disappeared into a private collection. It is believed that there are a number of Jackson Pollock paintings that are as-yet unknown to the public, hiding out with private collectors. We believe another such painting was acquired by a US-based collector approximately seven years ago, but its whereabouts have to date been kept a closely-guarded secret.
