Jackson Pollock: The Blue Unconscious

Next month, Sotheby's will auction off a Jackson Pollock that, previous to this, had last been seen in 1965, when it disappeared into a private collection. It is believed that there are a number of Jackson Pollock paintings that are as-yet unknown to the public, hiding out with private collectors. We believe another such painting was acquired by a US-based collector approximately seven years ago, but its whereabouts have to date been kept a closely-guarded secret.

The Blog's First Day

It's the first day. Blog just created. There will be information, painting bits, and a chronicle of a large Jackson Pollock drip painting found at an estate in South America--a chronicle of the painting discovered in 2007 and kept in hiding--a painting that could be worth $50-110M.
